APS Fun Run

Yesterday, we had our annual APS Fun Run, and it was great to see everyone getting involved and enjoying the event. Congratulations to all students for their efforts and achievements.

I would also like to thank all those who volunteered their time to support this event, we truly appreciate it.

In the coming weeks, students who have qualified for the next round of Cross Country will receive further information. The next round is scheduled to be held at Chelsworth Park on the MONDAY 13th of May.

For those interested in the district team selection process, please review the following:

 Qualifying:

  • The Top 10 fastest times from each age category (not year level) will be selected to represent APS at the IDSSA Cross Country Event.
  • Please note students ran in year levels because the focus was on fun and participation, and it allows students to run with their peers.

Age Categories at District, Division, Regional and State Levels:

  • 9/10 girls and boys (students born in 2014, 2015)
  • 11 girls and boys (students born in 2013)
  • 12/13 girls and boys (students born in 2011,2012)
