Faith Filled Scientists Expo

How often do you get to meet a real scientist?

 

In our quest for Science education to be truly transformative, our Year 7s recently had the opportunity to interview 5 different scientists who each shared their scientific journey and how the incredible order they see through their scientific work has led them to a deeper understanding of the master designer, God. They also explained to us how their jobs help them be faithful stewards of creation which is our theme for Year 7 science this year. It was easy for our students to see how these scientists were being responsive disciples in their area of expertise.

We are so grateful that we had this amazing opportunity to personally interview scientists who have such important jobs in the world – from working on the future 6G phone network, designing the new metro trains, protecting endangered species, developing genetically modified grains & studying the AIDs virus & human aging.

Here are some of the things they taught us:

“In the laboratory it is amazing the details we can uncover that God has put into this world and that is why I believe I can worship God equally in a church and in a laboratory”
