Presentation Sisters Plaque

On Friday 20 October, the College community took the opportunity to unveil and bless the acknowledgement plaque for the founding sisters who came out from Ireland to begin St Mary's. It was wonderful to have a significant number of visitors, including Presentation Sisters, past principals and alumni, here to join in this celebration.

The plaque acknowledges the journey taken by the founding sisters from Ireland under the invitation of the Archbishop, marking the beginning of a school here in Hobart. This was a lovely gathering and another significant moment in the history of our presentation journey.
