Exam Season Begins!

Creating Futures Together

On behalf of the Units 3 and 4 teachers for 2023, I would like to say how proud we are of how well they have begun exam season. On Tuesday, they sat their first written exam for English and EAL, and were prepared, nervous, but ready. Since then, our senior students have sat Physical Education, Literature, Spanish, Biology and General Mathematics 1 and have emerged relieved and eager to share how they've gone.

All students have conducted themselves with poise and calm, and those who have relentlessly prepared and revised are enjoying the benefits of their hard work throughout the year.

We wish all our senior students the very best as they complete their exams, including our Year 11 and 10 students who are about to embark upon theirs.

Some exam protocols to be aware of:

  • all drink bottles and pencil cases must be clear with no labels
  • dictionaries may not have a thesaurus attached and must not have highlighting and/or annotations
  • full school uniform must be worn
  • bring a supply of blue pens, pencils and highlighters
  • prepare fully-charged calculators and properly bound references
  • no mobile phones, smart watches or ear buds can be brought in
  • special provisions do apply

The more we can prepare our younger students of the proper exam protocols, the less they need to worry about that in Units 3 and 4.

Thank you for your support of our senior students,

Felicity Graham-Prowse

Senior School Leader.
