Music Learning Area News

We have many performance opportunities coming up for our Music students this term! Last week the Stage Band performed at the opening of our Arts and Technology show.

We would love for parents and friends to come along to the Spring Concert on Monday November 27th at 7pm. Tickets will be available to purchase through TryBooking in the next few weeks. The link to purchase tickets will be posted on your Compass newsfeed.  

TERM 4 MUSIC EVENTS 

• Choir Incursion – Thursday November 9th – Periods 3 & 4 
• Year 7 Concert Band performing at the Victorian School Music Festival, Hawthorn Town Hall – Thursday November 16th 
• Choir and Year 7 Concert Band performing at local primary schools – Brandon Park PS and Jells Park PS – Thursday November 23rd; Wheelers Hill PS – Thursday November 30th 
• SPRING CONCERT – ALL school ensembles – Monday November 27th 
• Stage Band and Choir performing at Presentation Night – Thursday December 7th 

We encourage students to be practicing their parts for their ensemble at home, as well as attending all rehearsals, so that they are well prepared for these performances. Please provide permission for these events as they appear on Compass.
