Photos Catch Ups:
Some catch-up photos of our wonderful children - and a dad - being their usual wonderful selves.
Dora and Zeeniya, and Shreya and Isabella share their stories.
We are growing outstanding Leaders at Western Heights. Amelia gifted some books to Room 34 - the class she reads to every day after lunchtime. She bought them in a Second-Hand book store at the weekend—a caring, contributing leader.
Kofi is wonderful, too. He is a student librarian and regularly reads to children at lunchtime and to his buddy class too. A quiet and unassuming leader.
At Left: Kelly Liu won EduExperts Student of the Year for 2023.
She is very proud of her achievement, as are we.
We have quite a few South African families at Western Heights, and my 'thanks' to all those family members (including Fay at right) who made sure I knew who won the Rugby World Cup.
Ella gave me a beautiful turtle bracelet in purple, which matches hers in green. Turtally kind and cool.
I do my best to make sure every child receives a birthday card on their birthday - or on the day closest to it if their birthday falls in the weekend or the holidays.
Recently I gave a birthday card to Melanie and Rachel - their birthdays were on 30 October.
Melanie and Rachel are sisters, born on the exact same date, but two years apart. That's pretty cool I think.
Dior's dad arrived as a T Rex to take Dior home. Dior had no idea who the dinosaur was until it spoke to him.
The standard has been set dads - I really hope some dads take up the challenge laid down by Dior's dad.
Heidi loves diving and competed at West Wave in an inter-school competition recently.
