Year 2 Sleepover

The Year 2 Sleepover took place on Friday 20th October. 

Students arrived at school at 4:30pm ready for a fun night.  After making their beds, students went to the gym to get ready for our performance from the Flying Bookworms. Claire and Jake took us through three stories:  Market Square, Caps for Sale, and the Gigantic Turnip.  Claire and Jake were accompanied by some cheeky monkeys, family members and some cute animals (aka Year 2 Students).

After the show, we had yummy pizza for dinner.  Then we went off to paint our money boxes and then had a disco in the gym.

Then we got into our PJs ready to settle down to watch Elementals.  Some students fell asleep early.  Others wanted to stay up all night but failed. 

On Saturday morning, students were up early.  We had breakfast, spent time in the library, packed up, and played in the yard.

Students then went home, very tired, and ready for a nap.
