New Adventure – St Augustines News
Term 4 Week 4
Well what a busy couple of weeks for our lovely school !
Last week was so wonderful to see all the hard work of production pay off in what was a fantastic performance for a Primary school ! So many talented children and many of the main cast are our very own After school care Children including Henry, Ava, El, Chloe and Heidi. We were so proud of all of them.
Thank you to all our Educators who came to watch but especially Ruby and Caitlin who were the hair and make up team for both shows !
What have we been up to in the last two weeks?
At Before and After school Care last week we had a fun week of games including our full day program on Wednesday ! We had had lots of conversation about the original games consoles and on Wednesday the kids helped Liam one of our Junior educators to set up our original Wii and the kids loved playing Wii sports and original Sonic and Mario !!
This week was National Bird count week and
we have had so much fun identifying bird calls and some lovely art creations. It has been so busy with 3/4 camp and the big swimming week for the Prep, 1 and 2's. I called in today to After school care when I got back from camp and everyone was very sleepy !!!
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
FRIDAY 3RD NOVEMBER SCHOOL CLOSURE
Friday 3rd of November is a PD day for the staff at ST A's. We will be running a full day program for those who need care called "Things that Fly" We will be making paper mache hot air balloons and exploring planes and all machines that fly but also looking at what can fly in nature.
We will finish with popcorn and Paper planes the Movie.

CHRISTMAS WEEK
Bookings are also open on Hubhello for Christmas week 18th to 22nd December.
If you need an extra day to shop or wrap book now !!!! This is proving to be very popular.
Next week we will be enjoying being On The Farm program and finishing with our full day program on Friday which will be "Things that Fly"
