LIBRARY TIME

Our Preps have loved library time all year!

EVERYBODY DANCE NOW!

This week the 1/2 students learnt about transformation in Maths by flipping, turning and sliding shapes. Students created a dance to help them remember the different types of transformations a shape can make. Why not ask them to show you their dances at home!

This week we were grateful for Bunnings Box Hill South with their donation of pots and materials to make our own pots to plant herbs. Lisa from Bunnings Box Hill South came in to talk abut planting the herbs and what herbs need to grow. We have been learning about how food grows and how insects such as bees help pollinate. It has been wonderful to combine all our learning in a fun and hands on project as such. We are excited to watch the herbs grow and to look after them.
