As we reach the middle of Term 4, it’s wonderful to reflect on a Term 4 already filled with achievements and memorable moments for our students! This term has been packed with opportunities for learning, growth, and celebration, and we couldn’t be prouder of all our students have accomplished.
From academic successes to extracurricular highlights, each week has showcased the talents and hard work of our students. Whether they were taking part in school events, excelling in their studies, or showing resilience in new challenges, their achievements have been inspiring to witness.
Celebrating Our 2024 Performance Report!
We are thrilled to share the fantastic news that Truganina P-9 College has received our 2024 School Performance Report, and we have been recognized as a HIGH performing school!
This achievement reflects the hard work and commitment of our entire school community in focusing on student learning and wellbeing outcomes.
The performance model used in this report allocates schools into four categories—High, Improving, Medium, and Developing—based on key measures of student success. Achieving a High performance rating is a testament to the dedication and excellence demonstrated by our students, staff, and families.
This outstanding achievement for Truganina P-9 College is a true testament to the professionalism and dedication of our teachers and the hard work of our students. We are so proud to be recognized as a HIGH performing school in the 2024 School Performance Report, a reflection of the commitment across our entire community.

Excellence on the Sporting Field
Our Truganina P-9 students continue to impress with their health, fitness, and passion for sports, whether it’s a friendly lunchtime game, training during PE, or competing at higher levels. This term has brought some amazing achievements that we’re excited to share!
Congratulations to Bella, who achieved 2nd place in shot put at the regional competition and will now advance to the state championships. Well done, Bella!

Thank you to our dedicated Sports Department, sports teachers, and coaches who put in the extra time to provide training sessions for our students. Your hard work and commitment have contributed to these outstanding results for our College and our students. We wish you every success at the next senior level of competition.
Exciting News: Team Kids is Coming to Truganina P-9 College!
We are thrilled to announce that our School Council has endorsed Team Kids as our new out-of-hours care provider, beginning in 2025. Team Kids will offer a range of services to support our families, including before and after school care PLUS holiday care.
To make communication easy, Team Kids will have a full-time, on-site manager dedicated to ensuring smooth daily operations. In addition, they will provide a qualified wellness staff member who will focus on meeting the social and emotional needs of our students.
Team Kids will also bring a host of exciting clubs that allow children to explore new skills and passions! These clubs, which are offered free of charge, include STEM Club, Art Attack Club, Epic Sports Club, Coding Club, and more, with new activities daily.
We look forward to welcoming Team Kids to our College in 2025, providing our families with a high-quality, engaging care option for families and students!
Lights Camera Action!
It felt like Hollywood came to Truganina P-9 the other day with our senior students being filmed for a very important event. Truganina P-9 College and students are thrilled to be a part of an important event that is dedicated to making a real difference for young people – The 4 Ours - true representation, supporting youth initiatives, promoting mental health, and building a brighter future 4 ours. This first-ever 2-day event, packed with unforgettable experiences, epic entertainment, mouth-watering food stalls and more. From the electrifying games to live performances, community vibes, and a whole lot more!
