Eastern Metropolitan Region (EMR) Athletics 

Congratulations to Our EMR Athletics Stars: Ayaan (4A) and Alexa (4C)!

On Thursday, October 24th, two of our talented young athletes, Ayaan and Alexa from Year 4, represented our school with pride at the Eastern Metropolitan Region (EMR) Athletics Championships. Their journey to EMR was nothing short of incredible, with each securing top-2 finishes at the Monash-Waverley Division Athletics to qualify for this next level.

Alexa showcased her skills in the 9/10 Year Old Girls Triple Jump, while Ayaan competed in multiple events, competing in the 9/10 Year Old Boys 100m sprint, Shot Put, and Long Jump. We are immensely proud of both Alexa and Ayaan for their dedication, perseverance and outstanding performances.

A special congratulations to Ayaan, who, with his fantastic results, qualified for the SSV State Athletics in two events, Shot Put and 100m sprint. Ayaan will be competing at Albert Park on Wednesday, November 6th, and we wish him the very best of luck as he represents our school at the state level!

Well done, Ayaan and Alexa—you’ve made us all very proud!
