6F

By Jonathon Pereira

This term, the students of 6F have dived headfirst into the wonderful world of poetry! From crafting their own verses to interpreting and analysing a range of poems, we've explored themes, emotions, and the intent behind each piece. Our class discussions have sparked meaningful conversations about how language reflects our thoughts, values, ideas, and beliefs about the world around us. This exploration has encouraged students to think critically and connect personally with the poems we study.

In addition to reading and discussing various works, we’ve had a blast experimenting with poetic devices like rhyme, alliteration, metaphor, and imagery. These tools have helped us develop and refine our writing capabilities, allowing students to express their unique voices through their poetry.
