Senior School
Maths
We have been busy learning how to 'code' this term in Mathematics. Coding tells a machine which actions to perform and how to complete tasks. We have used a range of online computer programs to teach this, including studio.code.org and Scratch as well as our set of Spheros, which are coding robots. Once they mastered the art of guiding their Sphero to move in certain directions and at different speeds, students started creating obstacles, getting their Spheros to speak and there was even a game of tag going on between different robots!
Teachers Cash In!
To celebrate World Teachers' Day on Friday 25th October, Mr Webber rewarded the teachers with a range of prizes. Miss Black & Mr Smith chose a class party, whilst Mrs Sharland chose a car wash. The students in 5SC started off cleaning the car, but this very quickly turned into a giant water fight (sorry if your child came home wet!), squeals and laughter! Thanks for your efforts 5SC- after a trip to Nagambie and Shepparton last weekend, it is in desperate need of another clean... any takers?!?
