Content Knowledge
Hello families,
Term 4 is a busy and exciting time in schools and it was fabulous to see our students ‘hit the deck,’ settling into our classroom routines on Monday. Please take a peek to see our current Content Knowledge units that are currently guiding our reading and writing each day.
Foundation
My Body, My Senses
This term our Foundation students are learning about their 5 senses. This unit brings exciting new vocabulary to say, read and write, as well as students’ writing about their own experiences and knowledge of their senses.
Junior School
The Human Body
The Junior School is learning about the human body, investigating how our bodies work, allowing them to move and perform.
Middle School
Animals and Ecology
Middle school students have been navigating the different features of digital and print texts as they learn about life cycles, food webs and how all living species in an ecosystem are interdependent and interconnected with each other. Furthermore, students will learn about changes to the environment, due to natural occurrences and the actions of people.
Senior School
Economics
The Seniors are investigating how different societies answer economic questions in different ways and are developing an understanding of how to manage personal finances through Banqer.

Book Club
Scholastic Book Club is a service offered to students, parents and teachers. Brochures advertising a variety of books and computer software are sent home with each student, approximately twice a term. The due date for orders in the current catalogue is Friday 25th October.
Purchase of the books is not compulsory and there is no obligation. If you do wish to purchase any goods simply log into the Book Club site www.scholastic.com.au/LOOP and follow the prompts. All Book Club orders must be ordered and paid for via LOOP. Do not send order forms and cash to school. When the order arrives at school, books are sent home with students.
The School earns “Bonus Points” for each order which can be used to purchase new resources for the Library.

How to order
Click on ORDER in the top menu or REGISTER first to save your details for the first time. Select Teesdale PS and your child’s class. Add your child’s name and last initial. Enter the item number from the brochure.
You can order for multiple children at once. All orders are linked directly to the school.
Our school receives bonus points, which are redeemed for a variety of books for the children therefore we thank you for your continued support.
If parents wish to collect orders personally from the office, please let the school know.
