Bravehearts
Last week our Kinder to Year 2 students had a special visitor, Ditto, come and present to them in the JILOA Centre. Ditto is part of the Bravehearts program called Ditto's Keep Safe Adventure Show. This program teaches young children essential personal safety skills using age appropriate language, song and dance.
Student Reflections:
We learnt about having safe people to talk to. I loved the dance and we got to dance along with Ditto - Indica (Kinder)
I loved that we got a little booklet and sang songs - Adeline (Prep)
There were fun activities to do in the booklet - Chloe (Prep)
I liked the dancing. It help me to know what is safe and what isn't safe - Billie (Prep)
We learned about how to take care of our body - Grace N (Year 2)
I liked seeing Ditto – Ezekiel (Year 2)
Bravehearts was teaching us about stuff we should know like keeping our private parts private - Charlotte B (Year 1)
I liked the singing and dancing with Ditto - Thomas (Year 1)
Casual Clothes Day: Friday 8th November
On Friday 8th November there will be a school wide casual clothes day led by students in secondary. Together, two Year 8 girls are working to raise both funds and awareness for Destiny Rescue.
Destiny Rescue is a Christian organisation that saves children, particularly girls, out of slavery.
Please remember to bring a gold coin donation.

Each week at our Friday assembly we love to celebrate our students. We would love to hear from you if your child has achieved something significant over the weekend during sporting events, dancing, baptisms, theatre, music achievements etc.
