Join our school in the fight against hunger:

Support Our Christmas Food Drive!

At Cecil Hills High School, we believe in giving back to the community and making a positive impact where it matters most. That’s why we’re proud to announce that Year 8 will be holding a food drive to support Foodbank, an organisation that provides relief to 2,844 frontline charities and 3,379 school breakfast programs in Australia.

How Can You Help?

We invite all students, families and staff to join us in this important initiative by donating non-perishable pantry items, personal hygiene or household items such as:

  • Bottled water
  • Good quality tinned food and meals (with ring pulls)
  • Noodles, pasta and rice
  • Long life milk
  • Muesli bars and snacks
  • Deodorant, soap and body wash
  • Shampoo, conditioner and sanitary items
  • Baby food and formula
  • Pet food

All donated items must be unopened, in their original packaging with full ingredient and allergen listing, and within their best before date.

Let’s Make a Difference Together

This Christmas season, our goal is to make a meaningful contribution and show that our school community stands united in the fight against hunger and supporting those in need. Every donation, big or small, will help Foodbank provide essential support to vulnerable Australians.

Donations can be dropped off to Ms Kumar in the English staffroom or Mrs Shannon in the J Block staffroom. Year 8 students will also be visiting Connect classes each morning to collect any donations.

Thank you in advance for your generosity and support!

Ms Kumar and Mrs Shannon
