Getting ready for work
Year 10
A huge thank you to our dedicated Careers team for their incredible hard work in securing work experience placements for our Year 10 students. With 155 placements already confirmed for Week 8 and 73 still to go, the team has been working tirelessly to ensure every student gains valuable real-world experience. Their efforts, involving extensive outreach and coordination, are providing students with unique opportunities to explore different industries, develop key skills, and make informed career choices. We greatly appreciate their commitment.
Support Unit
The 2024 Heroes With Ability Schools Gala Day, held on 11/11 at the Michael Clarke Recreation Centre in Carnes Hill, saw students from the school's sports program come together to compete for the HWA Schools Varying Abilities Shield. This year, CHHS emerged as the WINNERS! Congratulations to all involved!
Miss Preston's Year 9 PE class was excited to invite students from the Support Unit to join in the fun and be part of their PE lessons, which complement the Inclusive Games unit. A big thank you to Miss Preston for organising this wonderful collaboration!
