Celebrations and Acclamations
- Primary SS - Thank you to the Elishia and Dilnasheen for ably managing the needs of their students on different days in Room 8. Great work!
- Middle SS - Thank you everyone for taking your duty bags out in the playground! Great work!
- Secondary SS - Thank you to Pauline, Hiba, Eli, Susanne, Elizabeth, Eirini, Nirosha for supporting their students to successfully participate in the Bounce excursion. they all had so much fun and it is great to see them happy.
- Senior Secondary SS - Thank you Carmel for stepping up and helping out with Basketball Interschool Sports last week.
- Learning Specialists - A sincere thank you to everyone for your support with the recent PSC lessons on sexual health. Your professionalism, flexibility, and positive reinforcement of key messages have made a real difference in helping students engage confidently and respectfully with these important topics.
- OH&S -I would like to thank Stefania, Sean, and all the Secondary teams for their efforts in monitoring toileting visits and ensuring consistent supervision.
- A big thank you also to Jacob and Frances for their support in improving the Secondary toilets, including updating the toilet roll holders and other infrastructure enhancements.
- Therapy - A big “THANK YOU “ to Frances and Jacob for helping the therapy team. Great work!
- Wellbeing - We acknowledge the significant amount of work that the Room 4 team have dedicated to one of their students with an ongoing and frequent complex behaviour. Not only have you been diligent in supporting this student's needs but working closely with the family to keep them well informed along the way. Amazing work there!
- Admin -A massive thank you to KK who gave up a few hours late Saturday afternoon to assist with the Fundraising team to collect the funds and resources from the Bunnings BBQ to ensure everything was returned and locked away back onsite at JSA. A fantastic effort.
PCT- Thank you to KK, Dan, Ellen, Irene and Vanessa for supporting the Bunnings BBQ. I am grateful that we have a cohort of staff that can support the school on the weekend to assist the Fundraising Team. The team made a bumper profit for the school so well done.
Each year we recognise any staff that have significant DE service awards and in Term 4, we will acknowledge these staff at the curriculum day on 3 November 2025. If you or someone you know has a 20 years or 25 years service with DE, please let Michelle or I know. The Department of Education recognise employees with 30 years service and above.
