Bus Safety

Travelling Safely and Respectfully on the Bus
Bus travel is a shared experience that relies on everyone showing care, respect, and responsibility. Whether it’s a short trip or a longer journey, good social behaviour and safety help ensure a calm and secure ride for all.
Here are a few key expectations for students:
- Keep noise to a minimum: Loud voices and disruptive behaviour can distract the driver and disturb others. Use quiet voices and respectful language.
- Wear your seatbelt: Seatbelts are essential for safety. Buckle up as soon as you sit down and keep it fastened until you leave the bus.
- No food or drink: Eating on the bus can create mess and pose safety risks. Please wait until you arrive at your destination.
- Be kind and courteous: Treat others with respect, including the driver and fellow passengers. Use manners, follow instructions, and look out for one another.
It is also important to be aware that students who do not follow these expectations may have their bus travel pass temporarily revoked. Let’s work together to make every journey safe, respectful, and enjoyable.
