Mathematics

This term, our Number focus will be on fractions and decimals. We will also revise the four operations and extend students’ skills in algebra by solving problems involving missing numbers. Students will be encouraged to apply their knowledge and demonstrate mathematical reasoning when working on open-ended problems.

In Geometry, students will learn about angles and review shape concepts such as symmetry and transformations (flip, slide, rotate).

In  Measurement, we will revise key concepts including length, mass, perimeter, and area.

In Statistics and Probability, students will consolidate their understanding of chance language, probability, and different ways to represent data.
