Homework

Homework will begin in Week 2. For the first three weeks (Weeks 2–4), students will create a short weekly video demonstrating their understanding of Newton’s Three Laws of Motion, linking directly to our science inquiry unit. From Weeks 5–9, students will complete a homework grid with a range of learning activities.

How you can support your child’s learning.

• Establish a regular routine of reading 5 nights a week for at least 20 minutes.
• Check and sign your child’s diary each week. Your child should have recorded three nights of reading in their diary.
• Assist your child with homework tasks when needed.
• Ensure your child's iPad is fully charged and brought to school each day.
• Encourage your child to complete their Matific tasks, as these provide excellent revision and practice in preparation for the upcoming Mathematics Assessment Tasks for December reports.
