At Monday’s assembly the F-2 students shared their favourite part of the Late Stay and Sleep Over, and I think every activity came up somewhere or another. We also recognised Remembrance Day.
Star Students
Foundation: Sophie, for gaining 85% growth in her Numbers to 30 test.
Year 1 & 2 Learning Detective of the week: Noah for his change to now display a positive attitude and willingness to have a red, hot go.
Year 3 & 4: Lilymae, for her hard work on her innovation text in literacy.
Year 5 & 6: Shalmain, for trying her very best with handwriting.
Mount Wycheproof Cup Success
Marley McGurk was the winner of the Primary Division in the Mt Wycheproof Cup ‘Black and White in the Buloke’ themed Art and Craft Competition. Well done, Marley!
Kinder Transition
Last Friday the first of our Kinder Transition Days, saw our 2024 Foundation students spend some time at the College, familiarising themselves with the environment and reuniting with their classroom teacher, Lizzie Judd. The students will be with us again this Friday.
Reading Awards
Certificates were awarded to the following students on Monday:
100 nights: Ned.
150 nights: Ryan.
175 nights: Eve, Tom M.
200 nights: Oliver L, Eli, Molly, Cody, Campbell, Noah.
225 nights: Franklin, Maisie.
And our first student to reach 275 nights is Lacey. Great work Lacey!

On Friday students learnt about the significance of Remembrance Day and made wreathes and poppies.
