Uniform Recycling

With all students moving into the new school uniform in 2024, the school will be providing recycling bins for old uniform items to be dropped off. The bins will be available outside the Uniform Shop, during regular shop opening times. All uniform items should be laundered prior to dropping off for recycling.

The school has chosen to work with Textile Recyclers Australia as a partner for ethical disposal of unwanted uniform items. TRA collaborates to find circular solutions for unwanted textiles, providing recycling solutions for fashion, uniforms and other textiles and creating ‘closed loop’ programs. TRA also work with academia to find innovative recycling solutions in Australia, including with UNSW’s Green Ceramics Program, Deakin University, RMIT and Canberra University.
