The Victorian Academy of Teaching and Leadership

The Academy Leadership Excellence Framework (ALEF)

The Academy has recently launched the Leadership Excellence Framework which has been developed in partnership with Viviane Robinson from the University of Auckland.  The framework outlines the skills, practices and dispositions required for leadership excellence.  The five domains of practice defined in the ALEF are strongly affiliated with the Department’s continuous improvement framework outlined in FISO 2.0

The Academy is in the process of aligning their leadership programs to the ALEF and you are invited to explore and access the framework and resources by visiting the ALEF web page.  This is a very useful resource not only for developing your own leadership capabilities but that of others within your school and across the system.
