Survey summary results and actions
Thank you so much to all those who contributed to the Communication Survey this term. There was helpful feedback regarding improvements noticed over the last few years and constructive recommendations for improvements across communication channels. There were 59 responses in total with good representation across families who have only started at BNWPS this year through to those who have been here for over 7 years.
One of the most important objectives of the subcommittee has been to ensure that Sentral is seen as the single source of truth for school-related information. Feedback received indicates that this has been a success. If you have not found this to be true, we encourage you to connect with the school or this subcommittee so we can address this.
The newsletter has also been well received according to the responses, with a number of great suggestions to enhance the format and presentation of the newsletter. We will be integrating some of these changes in the near future.
We also received feedback relating to the newly formed WhatsApp Class Rep groups, which will be passed on to our current group of Parent Reps. Feedback will also be discussed at the next school council meeting (Thursday 7th December).
The printed Term Calendar continues to be a hit, confirming that a paper document is still helpful for families to refer to at home. Families needing additional copies are welcome to grab one at reception.
If you’d like to have a hand in shaping ongoing improvements to comms at BNWPS, please get in touch with us through the school office. We love having new people join! You don’t have to commit to any specific period of time, and we’re always open to ideas and suggestions.
Thank you again.
