As well as the fabulous collaborators from TAFE Western, VERTO and the The Regional Industry Education Partnerships (RIEP) Program.

Offering our students experiences helps shape their attitudes towards working by boosting confidence, skills and knowledge. Without the overwhelming support of our local business community and educational partners, our Work Experience Program would not be able to operate. We are grateful for every employer and worker that gets involved and enables our students to experience the workplace in a safe and friendly manner.

In the final week of school, Tom Conolly was hosted by Orange's State Member of Parliament, Phil Donato. Tom picked Mr Donato's brain on major community issues, leadership, and what it's like to sit in Parliament. Tom eagerly assisted around the office and lent a compassionate ear to constituents during his time at Mr Donato's office.

Work Experience acts as a launchpad for our students in their post-school pathways - two Year 12 graduates were able to secure employment from opportunities offered as work experience. Congratulations to Charlie Banham and Jonah Thew for their hard work and dedication!

Barista Outing

Anson Street Barista Program has had a huge influx of student interest with 16 students getting involved to grind, froth and serve up some delicious coffees to staff over the past term. Students that took part in the program say that the skills they have learned have made them more confident to apply for jobs in hospitality.

An outing to Lake Canobolas Cafe and Kiosk was organised as a reward for our Barista's hard work and determination. Students were presented with a certificate (as a certified Anson Street Barista), coffee, and cake.
