T-Ball Gala Day

Recently, some of our primary and secondary students visited Cowra High School to participate in a T-Ball gala day against schools from across the region. Students played in a round-robin format of 6 a side T-Ball games with plenty of smiles and laughs had by all. Outstanding feedback was received on the sportsmanship, encouragement and behaviour of all students with all eager to attend in the future. Thank you to all the staff for accompanying the students to this day.

2023 Sport

What a massive year of sport it has been. We have had students represent the school at Boccia and Ten Pin Bowling with the secondary ten pin team finished an incredible 4th in the state. We also had students represent the school and Western Region at NSWCHS athletics and swimming championships for the first time. A highlight of the year was the introduction of the Inter School Cup with students from Anson Street, Carenne, Holman Place and Yawarra Schools participating in T-Ball, soccer and boccia.

Our students had the opportunity to participate in several gala and come and try days including athletics, multi-sports, Dream Cricket, and T-Ball. As always, our students displayed great sportsmanship and giving everything a go with a smile on their faces. The installation of the Multi-Ball system in the gym has been a success with students participating in different games and challenges to keep them active in an engaging way.

We once again participated in the Premier's Sporting Challenge with many students gaining certificates in completing the program. Congratulations to Destiny (Primary) and Dylan (Secondary) for winning the PSC medal in 2023.

A huge thank you to the many venues and people in the local community who hosted or visited our school this year for Wednesday's sport. Your support and encouragement of our students is greatly appreciated.
