    Prayer:  Christmas Hope

Father, I pray that you will turn our hearts toward you as Christmas approaches.

Let us not get caught up in the hustle and bustle of the season this year and miss the chance to celebrate the gifts of hope, peace, joy, love, that you sent to us on that first Christmas.

That first Christmas, you gave us the gift of hope wrapped in swaddling clothes and laid in a manger.

Thank you, Father, for your immeasurable gift.

In Jesus’ precious name, we pray.

Amen.

Dear Families and Friends,

This week we lit the first of our Advent Candles, a symbol of Hope for all of us. What a powerful gesture this was for all of our children, especially in the turbulent times we see in so any countries around the world at the moment. I pray that for all of our young people there is much hope for a peaceful world in which they can live. Thank you to all the families who were able to join us for this prayer service. Next Monday we will once again meet as a school community in the Church to light our second Advent Candle and pray together. Any parents who would like to stay for a cup of tea or coffee following our gathering are most welcome.

Thankyou Morning Tea

We had a lovely gathering on Tuesday morning for our family helpers so thank you to those who were able to join us. I know that there were many more who were unfortunately not able to make it due to work and other committments but our thanks still goes out to each and everyone of them. Parent and Family volunteers enable us to do so many things which would not be possible without this help. As always we would love to see more parents and other family members volunteering for events and activities here at Trinity. Next year we wil communicate with you all to see if we can get some new members to join our Parents and Friends Team.

Meet the Teacher

Next week your child will have the chance to meet their new teacher for 2024. It is always a difficult process balancing our classes with many factors to consider. However, as a staff we look at each child's wellbeing and learning needs first to ensure they will have the best opportunity to learn next year. Sometimes this means children must create new friendships which does help them develop their social and emotional skills in a safe environment.

From the Library

Don't forget to return any library books you might still have at home. We still have quite a few outstanding loans so please have a look at home and send these back with your child.
