Team Kids Newsletter

As we wrap up another exciting term, we wanted to take a moment to reflect on all the wonderful things we’ve done together. It’s been a term full of creativity, celebration, and connection.

One of our favourite highlights was our STEM Adventures club, where we challenged ourselves to build a TK boat using only recycled materials. The creativity and teamwork shown by everyone was truly impressive! It was a great way to learn about sustainability while having fun and experimenting with different designs.

We also took time to celebrate Principal’s Day, where we showed our appreciation for Mr. Devlin with a lovely morning tea and some heartfelt posters made by the children. It was a special way to thank him for all the hard work and dedication he brings to our school community.

Book Week was another exciting event, and we also had a fun Pyjama Party! The children came dressed in their cosiest pyjamas, ready to celebrate stories and reading. It was such a fun and relaxing way to finish off the week.

Our Lunchtime Legends program continued this term, with a special focus on Year 5/6 students. We offered an art and craft session during lunchtime, giving students a creative outlet and a calm space to enjoy during the busy school day.

We also ran a fantastic range of clubs that were a big hit with the children. Our Cooking Club gave students the chance to get hands-on in the kitchen, making fun and tasty creations. In Writing Club, the kids wrote penpal letters to another service, which helped build connections beyond our own community. Art Attack Club was a space for messy, colourful creativity, and last but not least, the popular Squid Game Club, a student led idea that brought lots of energy, fun, and imagination (don’t worry—totally kid-friendly and safe!).

Looking ahead, we’re excited to be part of the Father’s Day Sausage Sizzle, hosted alongside the school. We can’t wait to celebrate our amazing school dads and carers with some good food and community spirit.

Finally, our Vacation Care Program is now available to view and book! We’ve got a great line-up of activities planned, so be sure to secure your place early.
