Prayer of the week 

We come to You with hearts full of longing,

Grateful for the gift of hope that flickers within us—

A quiet flame that refuses to be extinguished.

Bless those who dare to believe in better days,

Who rise each morning with courage,

Who speak kindness into a weary world,

And who hold onto dreams others have forgotten.

Strengthen the hopeful, O God,

When their faith is tested,

When the night feels endless,

And when the road ahead is unclear.

Let their hope be more than a feeling—

Let it be a force,

A compass,

A song that lifts others from despair.

Teach us to be bearers of hope,

To plant seeds of joy in barren places,

To build bridges where walls once stood,

And to see beauty where others see brokenness.

May our hope be rooted in love,

Fed by truth,

And shared freely,

So that even the smallest spark may ignite a fire of renewal.
