Standing Ovation for Oliver! JR

A huge congratulations to the 68 students involved in bringing Oliver! JR to life and making this year’s school production such a resounding success!

With a talented cast spanning Years 5 to 12, the production showcased an incredible range of skills and passion - culminating in not one, but two standing ovations from our audience. The production team couldn’t be prouder of the students, who stepped out of their comfort zones and truly shone, using the gifts and talents God has blessed them with.

A special shout-out to our Year 12 students for whom this was their final Bayside performance:

  • Josh Devenish, whose powerful vocals captivated the audience;
  • Bella Lucas, whose grace in both singing and dance has inspired many; and
  • Samara George, who has faithfully supported our technical team for many years.

If you missed Oliver! JR this year, we encourage you to support the performing arts at Bayside in the future - whether by auditioning, lending a hand behind the scenes, or simply cheering from the audience. The arts are alive and thriving in our community, and we’re excited for what’s to come! - Viv Holbrook

Blessing Bags Donations

As part of Year 9 Service Week, students are still collecting donations of muesli bars, shampoo and conditioner, roll-on deodorant, soap or body wash, toothpaste and toothbrush.

A massive thank you to every family and local business that has already made a donation to this incredible charity drive.

These items will be packed by students into hygiene care packages for Blessing Bags and handed out to those experiencing homelessness or disadvantage. If you would like to contribute to this incredible cause, donations can be dropped off to College Reception at 120 Robinsons Road, Langwarrin South.

Jogging Club

Jogging Club continues to be a great way for students (and families!) to stay active and start the day with energy. We meet on the oval every Monday lunchtime from 12:50 PM to 1:12 PM, and Friday mornings from 8:15 AM to 8:45 AM. Parents are warmly invited to join in on Friday mornings—it's a fantastic way to build fitness together and enjoy some fresh air.

It was great to have the District Cross Country runners join us at Jogging Club in the lead-up to their event—it was the perfect way to build endurance and confidence! A big congratulations to all those students who regularly take part in the Jogging Club, and to those who proudly represented our school at the District Cross Country. Well done!
