🏃♂️ CPS House Cross Country Carnival
On Thursday 9th May, CPS students braved the cool autumn air and gave it their all at our annual House Cross Country Carnival held at Princes Park. The atmosphere was amazing as students cheered on their peers and pushed themselves to the finish line. A huge congratulations to Ao House, who claimed victory on the day, earning the most points overall with a total of 215. Well done to all participants for showing great perseverance, sportsmanship, and team spirit!
🏅 District Cross Country
On Thursday 16th May, 39 students proudly represented CPS at the District Cross Country event held at Fawkner Park. Every runner demonstrated determination and resilience over challenging distances. A special congratulations to Hudson, Barnabas, Reina, and Sae, who have qualified for the Division Cross Country event taking place on Tuesday 27th May. Best of luck to our runners – we know you’ll do us proud!
🚶♀️ Walk Safely to School Day
Friday’s Walk Safely to School Day was a fantastic success, with students and families coming together to promote healthy, active travel. Congratulations to Prep A, who had the highest rate of participation and took home the class prize!We’d also like to recognise our talented art competition winners:

🏊 State Swimming Championships
A huge congratulations to Barnabas Z, who competed at the SSV State Swimming Championships at MSAC stadium and achieved an outstanding 2nd place in breaststroke! This is an incredible achievement. Well done, Barnabas!

BOX HILL JAPAN FESTIVAL on Sun 25 May
On Sunday, May 25th, the annual Japan Festival will be held at the Box Hill Town Hall. Once again this year, the Taiko Drumming Club and the Choir Club from Caulfield Primary School will be performing. The Taiko Club will open the event with a performance starting at 10:00 AM, followed by the Choir's singing performance.
At the Japan Festival, there will be a variety of Japanese attractions and food stalls, making it a fun event for the whole family. There will be an entree fee (see below), but if you wear traditional Japanese clothing such as a kimono, yukata, or cosplay outfit, you can enter for free. Please come along with your friends and family to cheer for us!

Venue: Box Hill Town Hall, 1022 Whitehorse Road, Box Hill

Ages 12 & more: $5Ages 6-11 & Seniors Card Holders: $3
The fee only applies if you wish to enter inside the Town Hall’s building for more fun things. Exploring the Town Hall’s Front Yard and Food area will be free this year.
