TT09 Interior Design

These gorgeous patchwork cushions are the handiwork of Zoe, Aimee, Harry, Freya and Nina. Students have been exploring soft furnishings in this elective. 

Indonesian

Fashion Show:

The Year 8 students participated in a classroom activity called Peragaan Busana (Fashion Show). They were asked to choose a traditional Indonesian outfit and accessories, then describe what they were wearing in Indonesian. The students had a great time during this activity. Not only did they learn about traditional Indonesian clothing, but they also had the opportunity to apply their writing skills, including spelling and grammar.

Zoom Meeting:

The Year 9 students took part in a classroom activity where they had a Zoom meeting with students from Indonesia. They took turns introducing themselves and asking each other questions, such as their hobbies and favourite foods. The session was conducted in both Indonesian and English to ensure that all students from both schools had the opportunity to practise their language skills.

Food and Fibre

Year 7 students have been enjoying their time in the kitchen. This week, they were focused and busy while cooking risotto.
