Sydney North Dance Festival
Dress Rehearsal - Wednesday 18 June
On the day of the dress rehearsal (Wednesday 18 June) students should arrive at school in their school sport uniform. Costumes will be kept at school so they do not need to bring this with them. Any extra items such as jazz shoes/performance shoes or tights must be brought in a bag clearly marked with your child’s name. Please ensure all of your child's belongings are labelled. Students should have their hair and makeup done prior to arriving at school. Students can bring their own lipstick as well to reapply prior to performing.
We will board the bus for the rehearsal at approximately 12:20pm and return to school at about 3pm. Students will be given time to eat their lunch before we leave. No lunch orders will be able to be ordered on this day.
Students will need to bring with them:
- A small bag with water bottle and jazz shoes/performance shoes
- A jacket (ideally a school jacket) for over their costume

Dragon Boat Festival - Friday 27 June
All dance groups will be performing in the Dragon Boat Festival in Week 9. Please keep an eye out for further communication regarding this performance.
Celebrating Our Brave Lion Dancers
On Saturday 7 June, a group of our talented students proudly represented our school in a city-wide Lion Dance competition. Their dedication, hours of practice, and passion for this traditional art form truly paid off as they wowed the audience with their energy and skill.
Not only did they showcase their incredible talent, but they also demonstrated great courage and pride in performing beyond the school grounds. We are incredibly proud of their commitment and bravery. Congratulations to our Lion Dance team, you have made our school community very proud!
