Breaking news....Outstanding Achievement in the Education Perfect International Mathematics Championship
We are thrilled to announce that our school ranked 1st in Victoria and 4th nationally among schools of similar size in the Education Perfect International Mathematics Championship!
A special congratulations goes to Jemmy He and Alayna Johnstone, who each received a prestigious Gold Award, placing them in the top 2% of competitors worldwide. Their dedication and excellence truly set a high standard for all our students. Well done to everyone who participated!
Students Shine at 2025 Science and Engineering Challenge
Twenty-eight Year 9 and 10 students proudly represented our school at the 2025 Science and Engineering Challenge. Throughout the day, they demonstrated phenomenal creativity, resilience, leadership, and teamwork across a range of STEM challenges.
Although we narrowly missed out on the top spot, finishing as runners-up with a total of 1470 points—just 12 points behind the winners—the students’ efforts and enthusiasm were nothing short of outstanding. Well done to everyone involved!
Girls in STEM: Izzy Explores Swinburne’s Factory of the Future
As part of our Girls in STEM mentoring program, Izzy had the exciting opportunity meet Dr Kaneez Fizza and have a tour Swinburne’s Factory of the Future. During the visit, she gained hands-on insights into cutting-edge technologies such as factory automation, 3D printing, and the Internet of Things.
Year 10 Students Complete Final CHES Seminar
On June 17th, six of our Year 10 students took part in their final seminar at CHES, concluding their semester-long enrichment elective. The students showcased their learning and achievements during the final presentation event.
