Friday 15 August - Casual Clothes Day - Sports Theme - Gold coin donation going straight to pong-a-thon.
Book Week is fast approaching and no doubt the excitement about costumes is growing!
The theme for this year is ‘Book an Adventure’. I’m sure we have all read books that have transported us to faraway places, full of a multitude of adventures!
We would love to see students, staff and parents dressed up as their favourite book character, author or book on Tuesday 19th August.
Please note that when choosing a costume with your child/ren it does not need to be elaborate. We would encourage you to use clothes from home for the event. We do ask that the costume including footwear is appropriate for the weather, play and learning activities.
Our Book Week celebration morning will be a jam-packed adventure!
The 'itinerary’ for the morning:
- MOT, Middle of Term breakfast,
- Students to classrooms for roll call/morning routines
- Book Week parade in Worship Centre
- Read-a-round activity
- Students return to classes
We are encouraging you all to come along and celebrate the adventures we go on through our reading!
