What's happening in the 1/2 corner?

In week 1, 2B started to learn about information texts and started to create posters about a unique animal that they were researching on Kiddle. Some people researched animals like the pangolin, fossa, lamprey ETC. Everyone was working in pairs to make the posters . It took a few days to make them, but we finished them and presented them to the class. Now we will make a display of all the different posters.

Through Their Eyes - 5/6 Stories of Migration 🌏The 5/6 students have been on a powerful learning journey, combining AI, coding, storytelling, and augmented reality to bring history to life.Using an AI sidekick, students interviewed fictional migrants from the 1800s–1900s to understand the emotional reasons behind migration to Australia. These insights became the foundation for their interactive stories and games, coded in Delightex. Students designed immersive environments, added quizzes and branching pathways, and explored historical moments like the Gold Rush.To finish, they shared and experienced their creations through augmented reality, stepping inside their stories as players. This unit made history come alive.
