Welcome Back to Term 3,

I hope you had a fabulous school holiday break and are coming back refreshed, recharged, and excited for a fun-filled Term 3! With some amazing events just around the corner, this nine-week term is guaranteed to fly by!

Healthy Screentime and Digital Technology Use

This article highlights the importance of monitoring screen time for children of all ages.  It has some great tips to help your child use technology in healthy and balanced ways.

The Raising Children website (where this article comes from) and the Raising Healthy Minds app are fantastic, free resources full of reliable, up-to-date, and independent information to help your family grow, learn, and thrive together. They're funded by the Australian Government and reviewed by experts.

I highly recommend the app and/or website for excellent articles, advice and resources to help parents and carers.

Their articles, videos and interactive resources are tailored to different ages and stages.  They’re easy to navigate too.

MEPS Breakfast Club

Massive thanks to our beautiful parent helpers for their help over the past weeks in Breakfast Club; Thank you Jacqui, Elisha and Shae.

Remember, Breakfast Club is open for EVERYONE and it happens every Tuesday in the senior building from 8:30am.  We do ask kids to tick off on a list as they come in, purely so that we can keep track of numbers.

Warmest regards,

Crissi Kippie
