Wellbeing

Hi St Mary's,

I hope everyone is well. Just some reminders about some upcoming events to support Wellbeing.

This coming Wednesday 13th of August, we are holding a whole school soup day. Students are encouraged to bring either a bowl, thermos or mug and a spoon. The Parents and Friends Committee are funding this healthy initiative and to cover some costs could we please bring a gold coin to help out?

The Grade 5/6 students will be cooking four soups the day before and also flat breads. The choice of soups are; Chicken and Sweetcorn, Beef Pho, Pumpkin or Minestrone. They will also be cooking 70 flat breads. All of this will be done in 5 groups from scratch with each group responsible for each dish. An amazing undertaking by these students.  Students will also clean up after they finish and will be responsible for serving on the Wednesday with some help from the P & F.

Students should still bring enough lunch for themselves just in case.....
