We're back with Episode 2 of our Mic'd Up at St T's podcast! This week, our student leaders took the reins, hosting the episode and finding out a little more about our Year 6 leaders. They explored a range of questions around our school, what it means to be a student leader, and some fun questions to help us get to know them a little better.
Over the coming weeks, our student leaders will continue interviewing students and staff from across our school community. The aim of this project is to provide a platform for our leaders to showcase their leadership in action, while celebrating and promoting student voice across our school.
We hope you enjoy listening and learn something new about the wonderful people who make up our St Therese's community!
At our last assembly, we presented the Attendance Trophy to the class with the highest average attendance percentage. It was an extremely close race between 1 Moloney/Scott and 2 Holligan, with just 0.1% separating the two classes!
At the end of the week, 1 Moloney/Scott had an average attendance of 96.5%, while 2 Holligan snuck ahead with an impressive 96.6%. Congratulations, 2 Holligan!
Across the school, our overall attendance rate is currently 90.2%, with 258 students achieving an attendance rate of 95% or higher. Fantastic effort!
Keep up the great work, everyone! We wonder which class will take home the next Attendance Trophy at our Week 8 assembly?
Remember, at the end of the term, the class with the highest attendance percentage will get to enjoy lunch in the staffroom!
This week, our school-wide routine focus is Eating Time. This routine is explicitly taught at the beginning of the week, with staff continuing to reinforce the expected behaviours during eating times across both breaks.
