Student Wellbeing

What is Mental Health, really?
Mental health isn't just the absence of illness — it's how our children think, feel, cope and connect every day. Children's mental health isn't set from birth, it's shaped by various factors and experiences in a child's life that can have either a positive or negative impact. That means as families and educators, we have real influence. A great starting point to learn more is the short animation on the Emerging Minds Families site, which walks through what every adult should know about children's mental health in a really accessible way.

Lunchtime Clubs - Library Legends and Sports Superstars
Message from our leaders:
Sports club
Our sports club started last week, and it has been going really well so far. Each week, we play a different sport, which keeps things fun and interesting because we’re always trying something new, like footy or basketball. It has been a great way for everyone to stay active, learn new skills, and work together as a team. Overall, it’s been a positive experience that everyone is enjoying and looking forward to each week.
Library club
The Wellbeing Club has recently started a Library Club on Mondays at lunchtime, and so far it’s going well. It offers a quiet space where students can relax and let their imaginations run free. There is also a read-aloud session for younger students who are still learning to read, as well as for anyone who enjoys listening to stories. Everyone is welcome at the Library Club.
