Here is a snapshot of the important things you don't want to miss in this newsletter! Be sure to read for a more comprehensive rundown of all things happening in Newlands.

• Wednesday 6th May - AEU Stop work for half a day on Wednesday. Families are encouraged to bring their child to school at 12:00pm.
• Friday 8th May - Mothers day breakfast at 8:00am.
• Friday 15th May - Wear colourful/rainbow clothes for IDAHOBIT day

• Friday 22 May 2.30pm – 3.30pm - Colour Run 2026

• Friday 29th May - Smoking Ceremony at 9:30 followed by a special assembly at 2:45

• Please label your child’s belongings. It is only Week 2, and our lost property boxes are already full of jumpers, drink bottles, and lunch boxes without names on them. 

  Check out the lost property area outside the after-school care rooms (C Block) for any lost property.

• The school raised $649 for the Royal Children's Hospital.
• Next week, students in Years 3 to 6 will take part in our Cross Country try outs during their Physical Education lessons. 
• A reminder to our Grade 6 students to return the Placement Information Pack next week to your teacher.
