Construction Immersion Paving Project

The Year 11 Certificate I Construction Immersion students have embraced a real-world opportunity to put their theoretical knowledge into practice. Under the guidance of Mr Tony Wnuczynski, the students have navigated the intricacies of project planning, budgeting, material selection, and construction techniques to name a few. This paving experience has offered a holistic education that extended beyond textbooks and classrooms, nurturing many skills in problem-solving, communication, and project management. The seamless integration of pavers into an existing platform while maintaining the integrity of an existing driveway is not an easy task. Our students have not only paved the way for a safer and more beautiful residence on the Ashgrove Flats but have also paved the way for their own growth and development.

Well done to these students for a job well done and a special thanks must go to teacher/trainer Mr Tony Wnuczynski and Mr Ben Cribb for their expertise and patience in guiding the boys in this real-world project.
