That was a close shave

Early this year Evie in year 7 thought of the idea to shave a teacher’s hair as a fundraiser for kid’s cancer.  That set the ball rolling and while it took a while to organise, we got there in the end. 

Last Friday we came together as a college and raised $1,074:10. Thanks heaps to our students, parents and staff for your donations. 

The atmosphere was electric, with most of the school gathering to witness our brave volunteers being clipped like sheep by a handful of students. 

Thanks heaps to our two Yr12 students, Hayden Heathcote 12C and Michael Perna 12A, alongside Mr Harper and Mr Kaska for donating your hair to the cause.

 A great event for a great cause.
