Year 11 VPC WRS lunch time Skittles Tournament and KAHOOT! Challenge.
On Monday the 7th of August the Year 11 VPC Work Related class held a Skittles Tournament for Years 7 and 8 students in the gymnasium.
To cater for students of all interests, the Year 11 students also simultaneously ran a KAHOOT! quiz in the neighbouring drama room. All junior students were welcome to both activities.
The Year 11 class worked in the weeks leading up to the event to plan and promote a safe, inclusive, and fun activity that would showcase their employability skills of teamwork, communication, problem solving, and planning & organisation.
The event was also a great opportunity for our senior students to model leadership and the school values to the junior section of the school.
The activity provided something fun and different for the younger students to engage with at lunchtime.
The students got right into it and everyone who turned up was rewarded with a packet of Skittles for their efforts.
Thank you to all teachers who supported this activity by giving the students your time, attention, and assistance in and out of class time.
Well done to the 11 VPC WRS class for coming together and contributing to the school’s spirit with fun and positivity.
