Principal's Report

Principal's Report
Dear Families,
It was wonderful to join our community this morning to celebrate with our fathers, guardians, and special people prior to Father’s Day on Sunday. Our annual breakfast is always well attended, and I know our children love to bring their father or special person along to the event.
We acknowledge our local volunteers from the Rotary Club of Altona whose support enabled the event to be held. Our team of staff volunteers were also invaluable in ensuring the barbecues and items were set up and ready to heat on arrival. I hope that all our dads and visitors enjoyed their breakfast, and we look forward to seeing you back at the college for parent-teacher interviews, assemblies, and other celebrations as the year progresses.
The annual Father’s Day stall was held on Tuesday with our students purchasing from a wide range of gifts on offer. I extend my appreciation to Sarah Prismall and Casey Sperling who head up the fundraising sub-committee of the school council for their work in purchasing the gifts for the stall. Our neighbours from the kindergarten program at the Altona Early Years Hub also enjoyed their shopping adventure.
Thank you to Liz Lazarus, Sarah Prismall, Barbara Toal, Rachel Weber, Megan Ellis, Felicity Breen, Sharon Matovic, Erin Champion, and Bec Prince.
