Class Spotlight 

K Hume have had an exciting start to Term 2! Our students have been exploring the concept of weight by ‘hefting’ toys and other objects—holding and feeling them to discover which items are heavier or lighter. They are learning to describe their observations using words such as heavier, lighter, or the same.

In addition, K Hume have been strengthening their knowledge of letter sounds to read and write words and simple sentences. It’s wonderful to see the children growing in confidence as they build these important foundational skills.
