Ross Hill Farm Day

On Wednesday June 4 our annual Ross Hill Farm Day was held at the Ag Plot.

Ross Hill Kindergarten students, along with their teachers, support staff and families, visited the Inverell High Ag Plot to experience farm life firsthand. Students explored the orchard, weather station, tractor and other farm equipment, while also seeing a variety of farm animals in their own environment.

Our Year 10 students were on hand throughout the day to answer questions and assist the kindergarten students with collecting eggs, patting, hand-feeding and brushing the animals.

The visit concluded with a picnic morning tea featuring produce from the farm before the kindergarten students headed back to school.

A wonderful day of learning, connection and hands-on experiences for everyone involved!
