On Thursday, the Senior and Junior AFL teams participated in the Paul Kelly Cup AFL gala day in Kellyville.
In the morning, the juniors participated in skills sessions, run by volunteers from the GWS giants AFL academy while the seniors played matches against other schools.
Despite our best efforts, the seniors had a couple of close losses but showed great effort and great improvement through the day. In our junior matches, we had a loss in our first game but were able to hold on for an exciting 24-22 win over Castle Hill Public.
Overall we had an excellent Gala day and I was super impressed and proud of the efforts of all our players – Mr Whitbread, AFL coach
