NSW Premier's Spelling Bee
This year, Carlingford West participated in the Premier’s Spelling Bee challenge. Students in Years 3 to 6 have been practicing their words, with each class conducting its own Spelling Bee challenge.
There has been excellent participation across Stages 2 and 3!
Last Thursday, Stage 2 held their Spelling Bee finals to determine their stage champion who will move on to the next round, and Stage 3 held theirs last Friday.
Both stage competitions were highly competitive, and all class champions should feel very proud of their efforts!
I am pleased to announce that our stage champions are Sylvia S (4 Lime) and Lekhan V (5 Aqua). Both Sylvia and Lekhan will be representing Carlingford West in the regional finals, which will be held online in Term 3.
We wish Sylvia and Lekhan all the best as they prepare to represent their stages.
I would like to congratulate all our class finalists and runners-up for their terrific efforts this year!
